General Information

At the tip of the Llŷn Peninsula is the tiny, unspoilt village of Aberdaron, and situated in the centre of the village, only a few yards from the beach, is the original village inn, The Ship.

On this westerly point of Wales there are innumerable cliff, beach and country walks, delightful rocky coves to explore, secluded beaches and panoramic views, all of which offer a wealth of wildlife.

In and around the bay there are safe bathing and sailing, and with Aberdaron winning the Beach Award, you can be sure of clear water quality.

Local activities include:- swimming, sailing, quad biking, clay pigeon shooting, horse riding, fishing, coastal walks, diving courses, boat trips to Bardsey Island, the Island of 20,000 Saints and Bird Sanctuary.

The Ship Hotel is open all year round apart from Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

The bar is open all day during high season.
